COVID-19 Financial Need Bursary for Indigenous Learners (486)

The COVID-19 Financial Need Bursary Program for Indigenous Learners aims to support indigenous learners who are experiencing short term financial struggles due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.  The fund is meant to support Indigenous learners with basic needs such as food, shelter, or childcare, as well as towards needed technology.

  • Indigenous Ancestry
  • Registered in a credit-based program at Bow Valley College
  • In satisfactory academic standing
  • Canadian Citizen or Landed Immigrant, Refugee
  • Resident of Alberta
  • Demonstrated financial need and supporting documents
  • $300
  • Once your application has been submitted please allow for 1-2 weeks assessment time ***Please be patient as we have an increased demand for assistance currently***
  • Financial Supporting Documents include: proof of rent, utilities, childcare, and other debt/expenses and any documentation related to the emergency situation.
